All of our programs are run by volunteers, and all of our funds come from membership dues, donations and fundraiser participation. Classroom Grants: Every year the PTA donates thousands of dollars to Northeast classrooms through the grant program, enabling field trips, curriculum enrichments, visiting performers, school improvements, and more!

Newsletter: Regularly keeping families updated on school news and PTA activities

Student Directory: Contact information for families making playdates, birthday parties, and other community organizing possible. Funds raised through directory ads support other PTA programs

Kindergarten Days: Playdates and Meet-your-teacher events designed to ease the transition for incoming kindergarteners

Welcome Week: Families gather one evening during the first week of school to celebrate the beginning of the academic year, bringing dishes to pass. The PTA provides treats and gifts to welcome the staff back into the building

Enrichment: After-school classes designed to be educational and fun. There is a sliding scale on participation fees to enable more children to participate.

School Pictures and Yearbook: Marking a moment in time to look back on in future days.

Movie Nights: Families are invited two or three times a year to watch a fun movie together. Snacks and drinks are sold to raise some funds to support other PTA programs.

Ice Skating: Children take weekly after-school ice skating classes at Cass Park. There is a participation fee that covers transportation and instruction.

Halloween Parade: Kick off the night with friends! Kids parade around the block in their costumes before trick-or-treating begins. Participation and treats are free for all!

Book Fair: Encouraging a love of reading, the Scholastic Book Fair brings a book store into the school twice a year. Sales generate funds that contribute to other PTA programs.

SilverGraphics: Have your children's art turned into giftable keepsakes. This program raises funds that are used to support other PTA programs.

Winterfest: Come craft some fabulous gifts before the holidays and help raise funds to support PTA programming at the same time! Kids love this event!

Basketball: This program, for 3rd-5th graders, allows Northeast students to learn basketball skills and play against teams from the other elementary schools in the district. Go Wolves!

Skiing: Students take skiing lessons at Greek Peak. Participation fees cover transportation and instruction.

Computer Science Club: The club leans on the materials provided by GWC for the main curriculum but to develop a real ability to solve problems using the Python programming language.

Cultural Community Night: This free event celebrates the diverse cultures that make up the Northeast community. Families bring favorite cultural dishes to share, and local performers give a glimpse of the breadth of our varied backgrounds.

Staff Appreciation: Every year the PTA finds new ways to thank the teachers and staff members of Northeast Elementary during Teacher Appreciation Week, but it always involves families bringing in their favorite dishes to create a delicious home-cooked meal showing their love and appreciation.

5K and Fun Run

Carnival: Celebrate the end of the school year with the whole Northeast community. Games and prizes, bounce house and inflatable slide, cotton candy, a dunk tank, performers and more!
